  • Not Reaching Sanitising Temperature

High-temp machines must reach 180 degrees on the final rinse. A failed booster heater, wash tank heater, thermostat or a scale-blocked element keeps the machine from hitting the number your health inspector checks.

  • Not Draining

Standing water in the tank points to a clogged scrap tray or strainer, a blocked drain hose, a failed drain pump or a drain valve that is stuck.

  • Dishes Dirty or Spotted

Clogged wash arms, worn spray nozzles, a weak wash pump, low water pressure or a chemical feed that has stopped all leave dishes dirty or filmed.

  • Won't Fill or Overfills

A failed fill valve, float switch or pressure sensor either starves the machine or floods the tank. We test the fill system end to end.

  • Leaking at the Door or Base

Door gaskets, hinges and curtains wear quickly in a busy dish pit. Leaks at the base often point to a pump seal or a cracked hose.

  • Chemical Feed Problems

Detergent, rinse aid and sanitiser pumps fail or lose prime. On low-temp machines a sanitiser feed problem is a health-code issue, not just a cleaning issue.

03 / Good to know

High-temp or low-temp: what changes

High-temp machines sanitise with a 180 degree final rinse and depend on a booster heater. Low-temp machines sanitise with chlorine and depend on the chemical feed. Knowing which you have tells us where to look first, so mention it when you call.

Scale, grease and the dish pit

Northern Virginia water is moderately hard and scale on heating elements and rinse arms is a constant. Regular deliming and clean scrap trays prevent most of the no-heat and poor-wash calls we see. Ask us about a maintenance visit if the machine is being delimed less than monthly.

Call (571) 303-8548

My dish machine isn't reaching 180 degrees. Can I keep using it?

Not for sanitising. Switch to a three-compartment sink or a chemical sanitising step until the booster or heater is repaired, and call us to schedule the repair.

Do you repair glass washers behind the bar?

Yes. Under-counter glass washers share most of their components with small dish machines and we service them regularly.

Do you service conveyor dishwashers?

Yes, including drive, wash, rinse and heater faults on rack conveyor machines.

Can you fix the detergent and rinse aid pumps?

Yes. Peristaltic chemical pumps, tubing and probes are common repairs and we carry replacements.

How quickly can you come?

Call (571) 303-8548 and tell us the machine is down. We prioritise commercial equipment that stops service.
