Why did my Samsung ice maker freeze up?

In-door and fresh-food ice makers on some Samsung French-door models are prone to icing. Thawing it resets it temporarily. A lasting fix means checking the seals, the fill system and the ice-maker assembly.

How long does an ice maker take to make ice after a repair?
