Front-Load Washer Repair
Front-load washers rely on a door boot, a door lock, drum bearings and a sealed outer tub. The most common front-load complaints are leaks at the door, a door that stays locked at the end of the cycle, drain problems and a rumbling spin from worn bearings. We service front-load washers from Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Bosch, Electrolux and Maytag.
Top-Load Washer Repair
Top-load washers, both agitator and high-efficiency impeller designs, have their own set of faults: lid switches and lid locks, motor couplings, drive belts, clutches, suspension rods and the agitator dogs that stop clothes moving. Many of these are quick repairs once the washer is diagnosed correctly.
Washer Repair vs. Replacement
Worn suspension parts, pumps, valves and switches are affordable repairs on a washer of almost any age. Failed drum bearings on a front-loader are a bigger job, and on an older machine we will tell you honestly whether the repair makes sense against the cost of a replacement.
Age of the appliance
An older appliance approaching the end of its typical useful life may not justify an expensive repair.
Repair cost
Compare the expected repair expense with the cost of purchasing and installing a comparable replacement.
Overall condition
An appliance that has otherwise been dependable may be an excellent repair candidate.
Previous repairs
Repeated failures can change the economics of another repair.
Replacement cost
Premium refrigerators, ranges and other high-end appliances can be expensive to replace, making repair particularly worthwhile in some situations.
$75 Diagnostic Service
