Job Description:
Alliance Appliance Repair is seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Repair Technician located in the DMV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers etc. This position requires technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for repair, diagnose, troubleshooting and service of residential and commercial (based on experience) appliances.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers etc.
- Accurately document the service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair options, time estimates, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an appliance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in appliances.
- Ability to safely use hand and power shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Ability to understand and fill out service-related documents and paperwork.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. (Being bilingual is a plus, but not necessary.)
- Valid driver’s license.
- Have your own transportation for field service work.
